Check availability and make a booking for Omahu Marae
The primary use of Omahu Marae is to enable and advance the cultural well-being of our collective hapū, Ngāi Te Upokoiri, Ngāti Hinemanu, Ngāti Honomōkai and Ngāti Mahuika.
Our marae is available for hire by visitors, the community, and our hapū to embrace whānau and visitors to the region.
Omahu Marae is a non-profit organisation and receives no regular income, therefore we ask all users of our whare to pay actual use costs to ensure that we can continue to provide our beautiful facilities to everyone.
Please note that tangihanga takes precedence over all bookings. Omahu Marae reserves the right to hold tangihanga over any confirmed booking. When this occurs the Person/Group will be notified as soon as possible, and all monies paid will be returned in full
